The Wandering Tree

During the 8-Week Ideas workshop as part of “Klimafit in Brandenburg“, the idea of a wandering tree was developed. Within 8 weeks, a traveling installation was created using a donated tree and two benches from the municipal workshop in Luckau, inviting people to pause and relax. Over the months, the tree was intended to move to different locations within the city. However, the attention generated by the project led to a new partnership with a high school and a daycare center. The wandering tree found a permanent home on the daycare center’s grounds and is now being cared for by students from the high school. The wandering tree is now intended to serve as a blueprint for future tree plantings.
