Green Oasis in Erkner

The Green Oasis was prioritized during the training camp in Erkner on May 5-6, 2023. Implementation was planned to begin within 8 weeks.

On June 30, citizens began gradually transforming the triangular green space on Karl-Tietz Street into a green oasis. Initially, a raised bed was constructed and planted with drought-tolerant, edible herbs. Additionally, an irrigation pot was installed. A planting bowl with succulents was also placed. In the future, a seating area with shading through greenery will be created, and a flowering meadow will be developed. In the long term, more climate-adapted, edible plants are planned to be planted.
